We’re also trained to provide a full range of sexual healthcare treatment and counselling aimed specifically at women, from safe and legal abortions to pap smears, contraceptive advice and women’s wellness check-ups.
Here’s everything you need to know about this modern, conveniently located clinic.
Where is Marie Stopes Sandton situated?
You’ll find us at 18 Peter Place, Lyme Park, Bryanston, just down the road from the Sandton Medi Clinic.
Meet the team
This Joburg North centre is staffed by a team of dedicated, highly trained, non-judgemental women, and is headed up by centre manager, Veronica. Sizi is our enrolled nurse, Rosina is our general assistant, and Catherine – the face of Marie Stopes Sandton – is our administrator.
We’re passionately pro-choice
This means that whatever decisions you make, you’ll be supported and assisted by our staff. At Marie Stopes South Africa, ‘pro-choice’ doesn’t only refer to reproductive freedom and the right to a safe abortion. It also means that you’re free to decide when you want to have sex and who you want to have sex with (provided they’re of or above legal age), regardless of your sexual orientation.
You’ll never experience discrimination or prejudice at any Marie Stopes centre, and your sexual healthcare rights will always be respected.
Why to choose Marie Stopes Sandton
Our centre in Sandton is a warm, confidential and affordable clinic that recognises the importance of women’s health, and strives to provide the best service to every client.
Despite what you may have heard or experienced in the past, a trip to the gynae doesn’t have to break the bank – nor does it have to mean waiting in long queues. At Marie Stopes Sandton, you can book an appointment ahead of time, so there’s no waiting in line. Plus, you’ll receive professional treatment at more affordable rates than private doctors, without compromising on the level of care.
